What straight pipe casing is and how it comes
The casing for every straight run
Straight pipe casing is the aluminium sleeve that goes over the lagging on the straight lengths of a pipe run. The bends, tees and reducers sit between runs of it.
We roll it on our Swiss MABI line in Dublin 12 and send it in 1 × MTR or 1/2 MTR lengths. The ends are formed so each length slides into the next, and a short make-up piece finishes a run.
Where it goes
Heating, chilled water, domestic services and external plant, inside the plant room and outside it. The seam sits at the back as standard, out of sight, and outdoors the upper piece laps over the lower so rain runs off rather than in.
What we need from you
The size over the lagging, never the bare pipe, and how many MTRS the run takes. An insulation section works too: 76 × 25 means a 76 mm pipe with 25 mm of insulation. We add 0.3 cm to the size so the casing slides on cleanly.
Metal and finish
Aluminium from 0.6 to 0.8 mm, plain or stucco embossed. Colour-coated coil and stainless steel 304 / 316 are made to order.

Is there a minimum order?
No. One fitting is fine. Any delivery charge on a small order is shown on your quote before you order.
Do fixings come with the cladding?
No. Our prices are for the cladding only. Bands, rivets and screws are not included, but we can supply them with your order: ask, and they go on your quote.
What if you get a fitting wrong?
If we got it wrong, we remake it the same week, no charge. We make to the measurements you send, so check them before you send.
