Reducer (in line)

Concentric reducer cones in aluminium cladding, rolled to your large and small diameters. Type the sizes in and the cutting pattern draws itself.

An in-line reducer is a cone set out by radial lines, centred on the pipe.

How it's made: Radial line: a cone frustum, every line running to one apex.

A step down on the same centre

The in-line reducer is the cone that joins a bigger pipe to a smaller one when both share the same centre line. In the trade it is called a concentric reducer. We roll it to your large and small sizes, so the casing on each side meets it without a step.

Where you meet one

Anywhere a pipe run changes size, so the cladding steps down with the pipe and stays tight to the lagging on both sides.

What we need from you

Both sizes over the lagging, the big end and the small end, and the length of the cone from one end to the other. If you know the insulation sections, give us those for each end instead.

If the two pipes do not share a centre, and one side of the run has to stay level, you want the flat-side reducer instead.

Metal and finish

Aluminium from 0.6 to 0.8 mm, plain or stucco embossed, to match the straight runs it joins.

Before you order

Is there a minimum order?

No. One fitting is fine. Any delivery charge on a small order is shown on your quote before you order.

Do fixings come with the cladding?

No. Our prices are for the cladding only. Bands, rivets and screws are not included, but we can supply them with your order: ask, and they go on your quote.

What if you get a fitting wrong?

If we got it wrong, we remake it the same week, no charge. We make to the measurements you send, so check them before you send.
